SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 9 -- Agile Software Corporation (Nasdaq: AGIL), a leading provider of collaborative manufacturing commerce solutions, announced today that Altera Corporation (Nasdaq: ALTR), a leading supplier of programmable logic devices (PLDs), has signed a corporate agreement for the deployment and use of Agile Anywhere(TM) throughout Altera Corporation. Under the agreement, Altera will install Agile Anywhere, a Web-based suite of collaborative manufacturing solutions, at all Altera facilities worldwide, with subscriptions distributed to both internal Altera users and to users at Altera's supply chain partners.
